Our group encourages participation in our project through a variety of events. Join us for trail building activities, ladies days or come out and hike the trail as part of a group. If you'd like to add an activity, please contribute!
Green Hill Trail Building: Saturday, May 27, 2017Location: Durham Community Club,1679 Greenhill Rd, Durham, Nova Scotia
All are welcome to help finish off the Green Hill Trail! Meet at the Durham Community Club at 9:30. If interested in enjoying a pot luck supper afterwards, leave your contribution in the kitchen. Work will proceed on the section from the Provincial Park to the spring, adding signage and digging in the treadway where needed. We will also work along the West River, east side, to create the Riverwalk Trail amidst the bushes at the edge of fields. Volunteers will need to: wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt and hat; bring fly dope and sunscreen; pack a lunch, snacks and water. We will return to the Durham Community Club at 4:00 to lay out/heat our pot luck supper after a job well-done.
