Greenhill Trail Summit Hike: Saturday, October 19, 2019Location: Greenhill, Pictou County, Nova Scotia

Join OCC Trained hike leader Elaine Falconer up on the top of Greenhill for the most incredible view on the entire Cape to Cape Trail system...you can look north to Dalhousie and Fitzpatrick Mountains and the West River Valley as well as south to the towns of Trenton, New Glasgow, Stellarton and Westville. Friends of Greenhill Park are building an interpretive centre which you can see and Cape to Cape will be placing a kiosk at the start of the trail. Elaine will show you
where and then lead you on a relaxed descent to the Greenhill Road near the freshwater spring and back again. Like the Grand Canyon, easy going down but you will need to get "pumped up" for the return trip. It is 2.5 km each way, so not a really long hike! Very enjoyable and paced for ALL. Join us!
