Our group encourages participation in our project through a variety of events. Join us for trail building activities, ladies days or come out and hike the trail as part of a group. If you'd like to add an activity, please contribute!


Bothy Bash: Thursday, May 4, 2017
Location: Six Mile Brook Trailhead Parking Lot
Time: 7:30 PM

Hey Capers! Enjoy a great day at the Bothy!!

Andrew Parsons needs all hands on deck​ to assist his NNEC carpentry students in the transport of materials (benches, foam insulation and the "Thunder Box") and 
​perform ​
some final exterior construction work (board and battens). 
​Tools provided.
Who: You! (and friends)
What: Transport, construct and hike in/out (takes about 30-45min in) 
When: Start at 9:45am sharp on Thursday May 4th. Stay as long as you like.
Where: Meet at the Kiosk of the Weeks Gravel Pit in Six Mile Brook...go from there.
Why: To help out your fellow Cape to Cape Hikers and complete a great project that will enable us all to have a safe and secure all-season shelter on the 6MB Trail.
Bring: water, food and a great attitude. Rubber boots might help too as you will cross the brook 3-5 times en route.
Weather: If it is miserable out we'll plan another day and let you know ASAP. Bring appropriate clothing in your pack, in case conditions change.
