Scotsburn Winter Carnival Scenic Snowshoe Trek: Sunday, February 3, 2019
Location: Deb's Hidden Cafe, Scotsburn

Notes:

1/ PLEASE pre-register with Hike Leader Eric Wilson by email at ericnosliw1@gmail.com. If you do you will receive a "go / no go" email at 10 - 10:30am on Sunday morning 3 February.

2/ PLEASE arrive at Deb's NO LATER than 12:30pm so we can get away at 1pm. We leave directly from the cafe.

2/ This is a new experience. It is a fairly short, gradual shoe up to a rare view (via small brook crossing, hemlock grove, mixed hardwood and pastureland) and back to Deb's for hot cocoa and a meal if desired. If you would like to have a pre-arranged meal you can contact Deb at 902-382-3444.

3/ Please come prepared for very cold or very mild (wet) conditions. Suggestion: bring hot beverage and snack for enjoying the beautiful view for a few minutes while we are there. Bring your camera too.

4/ If snow conditions are not suitable for snowshoing, we'll hike instead. So, bring winter hiking boots too.

5/ Please bring a small donation ($5.00?) for the Cape to Cape Trail Operating Fund.

6/ This event is co-sponsored by 3 organizations; Cape to Cape Trail Hikers, Scotsburn Recreation Club and Hike Nova Scotia. THERE WILL BE PRIZES!

BE THERE OR BE A TRAPEZOID!
